Transportation

The North Spokane Corridor remains our top priority when it comes to transportation in the Spokane region.  Recently, Spokane was awarded $35 million thanks to the federal government's Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) grant. This money will help fund southbound lanes of the North Spokane Corridor from Farwell Road to Francis Avenue.

Plans for the corridor to reach Interstate 90 still need funding. That's why GSI and its civic partners and members advocate in Olympia and Washington D.C. each year. Read our blog for some benefits of the North Spokane Corridor, including the economic and lifestyle impact.

This project will create economic development in the years after it is complete. It is vital for the Spokane region to secure the funds.
