OPPOSE AB 2379 (Bloom; D-Santa Monica) Increases Costs On Microfiber Products — Prematurely imposes new costly and misinformed labeling requirements on polyester microfiber products when scientific and academic research on the root cause of emissions from non-apparel textile sources is uncertain.  It also undermines California’s water efficiency goals and drought planning by promoting less efficient handwashing techniques for all microfiber products.
